Audiolingual method emphasizes the leaning of the foreign language by means of dialogue memorization and pattern drills. Listening and speaking skills are developed first followed by reading and writing.
Communicative method claims that language is acquired through communication and thus it aims at developing students' four communicative skills integratedly through various activities. These activities provide learners with opportunities to use the target language for communicative purposes.
