From The Editors
Greetings,
We're happy to get Issue 5.3 out for the new year.
Our lead articles, "Reported Belief Changes through Near Peer Role Modeling,"
by Tim Murphey and Hiroko Arao, and "Pre-Service Teachers as Readers
and Future Teachers of EFL Reading," by Leyla Tercanlioglu both examine
attitudes towards learning, by both instructors and students. The Forum addresses
the very complex topic of what student-centered learning means, and "On
the Internet" provides a wrap-up of the year in teaching technology.
We have fifteen reviews of books and media, so as usual, we think you'll have
a lot to read and consider with the new issue.
TESL-EJ currently has four mirror sites which were set up when access from continent to continent was a problem. We are now thinking of streamlining TESL-EJ by reducing the number of sites. We would be interested in hearing from the readers on whether there are reasons why the current set-up should be continued. Follow this link to respond to a brief survey on this question.
